For kids 5-9 years of age who are interested in curling and want to give it a try. The Little Rocks program teaches the fundamentals of the game, including throwing, sliding and sweeping techniques using special rocks weighing 20 pounds and shortened brooms. We celebrate with the presentations to the kids. Price includes a Seasonal Luncheon & Fun Day. All equipment is supplied. 9:00am start Helmets are not mandatory but recommended. Hockey, skate or bike helmets are acceptable. The club Pro Shop sells some protective Helmets/Headgear. There are no rentals. Parents must be present during program and assistance is appreciated - no experience required.
